The setup for the Dortmund GO Fest of Pokémon GO is in full swing. Initial pictures show the habitats and egg route that you can walk.
Where do the pictures come from? On Reddit, the player “Agarillobob” from Dortmund shared these pictures. He apparently walked through the grounds of Westfalenpark and managed to take some pictures.
The photos give us an initial insight into the GO Fest before it starts this Thursday.
Giant Mushrooms, Team Lounges, and Egg Routes
These are the habitats: At the Dortmund GO Fest there will be 4 habitats, meaning locations where Pokémon of specific types spawn.
For this, the GO Fest is also setting up a proper themed world that players can walk through. Thus, the Dortmund player took pictures of the “Rocky Terrain” and “Mysterious Woods”. We show them to you here:
The habitats seem to excite players, even independent of the spawns in the game. After all, you can already see a giant mushroom and a large stone. One can be curious about what Niantic has planned for the other two habitats.
These team lounges are waiting for you: At the GO Fest, there will also be a team lounge for each team where you can retreat and take a break.
At the GO Fest, there is supposed to be only one lounge for each team. However, this one is significantly larger than the lounges in Chicago. The image shows the lounge of Team Valor, which probably has space for hundreds of players.
This is how you can efficiently hatch eggs: A picture also shows flags by the roadside that indicate routes for hatching eggs. There should be a route for 2-km eggs and one for 5-km eggs.
A player on Reddit has already noticed that the route for 5-km eggs is significantly too short and is only just over 3 km long. There could be improvements here.
This is how your internet is ensured: A few days ago, a player posted on Reddit pictures of the additional mobile masts that have been set up for the GO Fest.
This ensures that you have sufficient internet access and that it does not end up in chaos again like at the Safari Zone in 2018.
At the GO Fest, you can also secure a guaranteed Shiny:
