Data miners of Pokémon GO have found new content that should soon appear in the game. This includes a new Pokémon with two evolutions, as well as a popular Mega evolution.
What kind of find is this? The data miners of the group “Pokeminers” regularly search the code of Pokémon GO for new content. They repeatedly find fresh features or monsters before they officially land in the game.
Here we show you what the Pokeminers have found this time.
Mega-Pinsir excites trainers already – Another monster found
This was found: The Pokeminers shared some assets that were added to Pokémon GO.
Found were:
- Mega-Pinsir
- Frubberl and its evolutions
- and the Blanche-Lapras, which is now available in the new event “A Wise Hero”
Especially the finding of Mega-Pinsir is currently causing comments in the Subreddit “TheSilphRoad” for Pokémon GO. It is the next Mega Pokémon revealed through data mining.
When the monster will appear is still open, but even now the scissor beetle attracts fans to its side. Players describe the Mega evolution as “cool”, praise the design and also highlight that it will likely be the best bug attacker in Pokémon GO once it becomes available.

However, some trainers also point out that, for instance, found Mega Pokémon like Mega-Zobiris have not yet been released. Therefore, it remains open when Mega-Pinsir will appear.
In addition, the assets also revealed the new Pokémon Frubberl and its evolutions Fruballa and Fruyal – including their shiny variants. The Pokémon is from the seventh generation and belongs to the grass type.
“Fruyal is actually a good grass attacker for raids,” emphasizes user Teban54, who often shares analyses of various Pokémon in the community. According to the user, it has a strong moveset, which makes it only slightly weaker than, for example, Roserade. However, it would be surpassed by crypto Pokémon of the type and the ultra beast Katagami.
Whether, when, and in what form the contents will land in the game depends on the developer Niantic.
