When is the Community Day? The last Community Day of 2020 starts on Saturday, December 12 at 6:00 AM local time and ends on Sunday, December 13 at 10:00 PM local time. You have almost two full days to enjoy the content of the event.
A total of 22 Pokémon are in focus, which were already announced beforehand. Now Pokémon GO has revealed in a new blog post when you will encounter which Pokémon more frequently and what special moves are available to celebrate the day.
Community Day in December – Bonuses, Moves, and More
What moves are available? To celebrate the day and the end of the year, exclusive moves from 2019 and 2020 can be learned. For this, you need to evolve the following Pokémon:
- Glutexo to Glurak for the move Fire Breath.
- Kokuna to Bibor for the move Drill Run.
- Kadabra to Simsala for the move Counter.
- Alpollo to Gengar for the move Dark Punch.
- Rizeros to Rihornior for the move Rock Slide.
- Elektek to Elevoltek for the move Flamethrower.
- Magmar to Magbrant for the move Thunderbolt.
- Karpador to Garados for the move Aqua Tail.
- Porygon2 to Porygon-Z for the move Tri Attack.
- Tyracroc to Impergator for the move Water Cannon.
- Keifel to Mamutel for the move Ancient Power.
- Reptain to Gewaldro for the move Flora Statue.
- Jungglut to Lohgock for the move Fire Cannonade.
- Blanas to Tengulist for the move Bullet Seed.
- Kirlia to Guardevoir or Galagladi for the move Synchronoise.
- Muntier to Letarking for the move Body Slam.
- Vibrava to Libelldra for the move Earth Power.
- Drasche to Brutalanda for the move Outrage.
- Chelcarain to Chelterrar for the move Flora Statue.
- Panpyro to Panferno for the move Fire Cannonade.

In the future, you should also be able to learn the exclusive moves from 2018 again. However, information is currently missing.
These bonuses are available: In addition to the exclusive moves, there are additional bonuses for the Community Day. You can obtain a box with 30 Ultra Balls, 5 Lucky Eggs, one Elite Fast TM, and one Elite Charged TM for 1,280 coins in the shop.
Additionally, there is an exclusive research, and upon completion, you will receive another Elite Charged TM and other rewards. Another special research is available for one dollar in the shop.
These Pokémon appear more frequently: Throughout the Community Day, you will encounter Glumanda, Hornliu, Abra, Nebulak, Rihorn, Elektek, Magmar, Karpador, Porygon, Samurzel, and Plinfa more often.
Additionally, Karnimani, Quiekel, Geckarbor, Flemmli, Hydropi, Trasla, Bummelz, Knacklion, Kindwurm, Chelast, and Panflam will appear in raid battles and from 2 km eggs. More bonuses and Pokémon will be available on the respective days.

Saturday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time
- Hornliu, Abra, Nebulak, Rihorn, Samurzel, and Plinfa appear more frequently
- there is double Stardust for catching Pokémon
- the hatch distance is halved when eggs are placed in incubators
- incense lasts for three hours
- Mega Gengar appears more frequently in Mega Raids
Sunday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time
- Glumanda, Elektek, Magmar, Karpador, and Porygon appear more frequently
- there is double Stardust for catching Pokémon
- the hatch distance is halved when eggs are placed in incubators
- incense lasts for three hours
- Mega Glurak appears more frequently in Mega Raids
