There has been something like this before: Such an advance announcement occurred once before. Last year, Niantic announced the Community Days for October and November in advance and received much praise for it.

The thing is, they did this last year too. We had 3-4 months of Community Day dates announced in advance. Then they suddenly stopped. I can’t really congratulate them for correcting their broken public information. They should never have stopped.
