What kind of tasks are these? In Pokémon GO, you can spin the PokéStops to receive so-called field research tasks daily. These are smaller quests that reward you with items, stardust, or Pokémon encounters, among other things.
With the change of the month, the content of these tasks also changes. Therefore, in October, you will encounter modified tasks and rewards again. We have summarized what they are in the following overview.
All field research tasks in October 2023
What tasks are available? As you know from previous months, there will be a variety of quests at the PokéStops in October again, revolving around catching, throwing, and battling. You should also interact with your friends and buddy Pokémon.
We have summarized the encounters for which you will be rewarded, using LeekDuck’s overview, in the following graphic. Pokémon that you can encounter in their shiny form with a bit of luck are marked with a shiny star.
Be mindful that there will be additional quests for events that will thematically adapt. These are marked with the note “Event”.
How does one get field research? To secure the tasks, you just need to spin the photo disc of the PokéStops. Afterwards, you can see the respective quest in your field view in the game.
How much time do you have to solve them? Solving the field research tasks is unlimited. However, keep in mind that you can collect a maximum of 4 tasks, including AR tasks, at the same time. If all the slots are full, you must first redeem a task or discard it to be able to spin for new tasks.
The reward from the task also always corresponds to the one available at the time you secured the quest.
Why should you regularly complete the quests? Completing the tasks is worthwhile not only because of the encounters with the Pokémon. If you complete at least one of these tasks for 7 days, you will receive the so-called research breakthrough on the 7th day, which brings you encounters with another creature, as well as XP, stardust, and an item.
As already expected in September, in October you can encounter Galarian Porenta, Larvitar, Sableye, Dratini, Swablu, or Viscora. All can also appear as Shiny with a bit of luck.
