In Pokémon GO there are changed field researches in line with the start of the new month. We show you all quests from November.
This is new: The month of November has started, and traditionally the field researches in Pokémon GO have changed. The quests around ghost Pokémon from October have mostly disappeared, and new tasks can now be found.
The tasks primarily revolve around the fairy type, and you can find some monsters of this type in the field researches.
All Field Researches in November 2020
How do we know the quests? We refer to the diligent trainers from TheSilphRoad. They have already compiled the quests. However, keep in mind that some tasks may still be missing.
Additionally, there are always event field researches throughout the month that we do not mention here. These include the quests from the Halloween event, which can still be found.
Quests with Throws
- Land 5 great curveball throws in a row
- Reward: Encounter with a Pandir #4*
- Land 5 good throws
- Reward: Encounter with a Voltobal*
- Land 3 great throws
- Reward: Encounter with a Nebulak*, Anorith* or Liliep*
- Land 3 great throws in a row
- Reward: Encounter with an Onix*
- Land 3 fantastic throws in a row
- Reward: Encounter with a Larvitar*
The task you should always take with you is the quest around Pandir. This task is rare but could be worth it. After all, Pandir is one of the rarest shinies in the game.
For shiny hunters, the quest around Voltobal is also exciting. It’s completed quickly and could bring a rare shiny.
Quests with Catches
- Catch 3 Pokémon with weather boost
- Reward: Encounter with a Dratini*
- Catch 3 fairy type Pokémon
- Reward: Encounter with a Piepi*
- Use 5 berries while catching Pokémon
- Reward: Encounter with a Snubbull*
- Catch a dragon type Pokémon
- Reward: Encounter with a Dratini*
- Catch 5 Pokémon with weather boost
- Reward: Encounter with a Quapsel* or Vulpix*
- Catch 10 Pokémon
- Reward: Encounter with a Karpador*
The task “Catch 5 Pokémon with weather boost” is done quickly and brings 2 possible shinies with it. If you don’t have these shinies yet, you should always take this task with you.
The other tasks here also bring shinies, but these are rather common if you have been playing for a longer time.
Quests with Battles
- Win a raid
- Reward: Encounter with a Flunkifer*
- Defeat 3 Team GO Rocket Grunts
- Reward: Encounter with a Kindwurm*
- Win 5 raids
- Reward: Encounter with an Aerodactyl*
- Win a level 3 raid or higher
- Reward: Encounter with a Kabuto* or Amonitas*
Some quests related to battles have not been available since the Corona time.
The task around Flunkifer is really good. This Pokémon is usually only available in raids or eggs. Now you can find it in quests for at least a month. It’s worth it, as Flunkifer can be shiny.

- Hatch an egg
- Reward: Encounter with a Waumboll

- Send 3 gifts
- Reward: Encounter with a Pummeluff*
- Give your buddy 3 snacks
- Reward: Encounter with a Wablu*
- Trade a Pokémon
- Reward: Encounter with a Vibrava
- Evolve a Pokémon
- Reward: Encounter with a Seemon or Evoli*
- Earn 5 hearts with your buddy
- Reward: 2 silver Nana berries
- Reward: Encounter with a Trasla*
- Use 5 power-ups on Pokémon
- Reward: Encounter with Schiggy*, Bisasam* or Glumanda*
- Earn 3 candies while walking with your buddy
- Reward: Encounter with a Flunschlik
The task “Send 3 gifts” is solved quite quickly and brings a somewhat rare shiny with Pummeluff. If you don’t have it yet, you should chase the quest or go for the Spotlight Hour in November.
What you should know about the Pandir form: This month, the Pandir form has changed again. While before it was #2, now it is #4. If you are missing this shiny, you should focus on the quest regarding great throws.
How long will the quests be available? The next change is expected on December 1 at 10:00 PM German time. It might then revolve around ice Pokémon again – after all, the Christmas season is approaching.
Research Breakthrough in November
What is there in the research breakthrough? In November, you can get Togetic from the breakthrough. You will be able to find it there until December 1.
Is the breakthrough worth it? For PvP fans, the research breakthrough is quite interesting. After all, the final evolution Togekiss is one of the best Pokémon in the Master League.
So, if you are still looking for a good team for the Master League, you might snag a good specimen in the breakthrough.
