What has changed? Regularly, Pokémon GO brings new field research tasks that adapt to the currently running events.
Here we show you the field research tasks that are active throughout December and which encounters you will get from them.
Field Research December 2022 Pokémon GO
The overview: In the following graphic, you can see all active quests and their respective rewards. Pokémon marked with three stars can be caught in their Shiny form if you’re lucky. However, the chances of this are quite low. As a source for the overview, we have translated the data from LeekDuck.
Keep in mind that the research tasks adapt to the events. If you are looking for Galarian Weezing for the “Mysterious Blade” event, complete the field research tasks “Catch 15 Fighting-type Pokémon” or “Use 15 Power-Ups on Pokémon.” Both reward you with Galarian Weezing.
What are field research tasks? You receive field research tasks in the game when you visit PokéStops or Gyms. Click on them and select the photo disk. Swipe across the screen to spin the disk and you will receive a research task if you have space.
By completing a research task, you can earn one research stamp per day. If you do this seven times, it results in a research breakthrough. The rewards change regularly. Until March, the research breakthrough will always bring you one of six possible Pokémon.
