The Pokémon GO Fest 2021 starts today, on July 18, 2021, its second day. Here we briefly summarize the bonuses and content you can expect.
What is going on right now? The GO Fest 2021 has been in full swing since Saturday. After habitats were the focus yesterday, today marks the second day with hourly rotating legendary raids.

All Content of Pokémon GO Fest 2021, Day 2
This is the most important content: During the second day, all legendary Pokémon that have ever appeared in Pokémon GO will be available. They will visit the day’s level 5 raids in rotation. This is organized according to different time periods.
- The Wind Hour runs from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. It brings:
- Mewtwo
- Ho-Oh
- Latias
- Latios
- Regigigas
- Giratina in its Altered Form
- Cresselia
- Virizion
- Boreas in its Incarnate Form
- The Lava Hour runs from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. It brings:
- Moltres
- Entei
- Regirock
- Groudon
- Heatran
- Reshiram
- Terrakion
- Landorus in its Incarnate Form
- Yveltal
- The Frost Hour runs from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It brings:
- Articuno
- Suicune
- Lugia
- Regice
- Kyogre
- Palkia
- Kyurem
- Shaymin, Mesprit, and Uxie are also available in their usual regions
- The Thunder Hour runs from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. It brings:

New Special Research: There will be a new special research that explains a bit why legendary raids suddenly appear everywhere. It revolves around the mysterious Pokémon Hoopa.
The research is available to all players and brings some bonuses. Here you can find the overview of the special research “Strange Rings” with all tasks and rewards.
These bonuses are available with a ticket: To be able to participate in all the raids, raid passes are required. Ticket holders can receive them, among other ways, by spinning gyms and from limited research. All content with a ticket can be found here:
- for each raid battle won, you will receive an additional 10,000 XP
- up to 10 raid passes by spinning at the gym
- up to 8 remote raid passes from limited research
- free event box with 3 remote raid passes (available July 18, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
Snapshot Bonuses: If you take a snapshot on Sunday during the event after completing the Meloetta research, you can receive one of two event Pokémon. Which one you get depends on your choice during the research.
