The GO Fest 2024 brings a variety of content. While some of the content is available to all trainers, you must purchase the ticket for some of the content.
One of these pieces of content is a special research where you will encounter Marshadow. This is a mysterious Pokémon from Generation 7. It has the Fighting and Ghost types. It does not have an evolution.

Marshadow in Raids and the Battle League
Is Marshadow worthwhile for Raids? Although Marshadow belongs to 2 types, Fighting and Ghost, it can only be used as a Fighting attacker. The Pokémon does not have a Fast or Charged move of the Ghost type.
As a Fighting attacker, however, Marshadow can use the moves Counter and Close Combat. It has good stamina and can deal decent damage.
In the list of the best Fighting attackers in Pokémon GO, it ranks between Hisui-Zorua and Machamp, making it a very solid Pokémon for battles in Raids.
Is Marshadow worthwhile for the Battle League? You can also plan Marshadow for the Battle League. However, be aware that it is not suitable for the Super League at all and only conditionally for the Hyper League.
In the Master League, Marshadow does have its place. While it is not at the absolute top of the league, it is represented very well. However, to use the Pokémon effectively in the Master League, you will need some candies.
For the use in the Battle League, you should rely on the move combination of Counter as a Fast move and Close Combat and Ice Punch as Charged moves.
Can I also get Marshadow without a ticket? Currently, you can only obtain a Marshadow with the ticket. Whether it will be made available for all trainers in the future, as it was recently with Diancie, remains to be seen.
