What is the GO Fest 2024? The GO Fest is the largest annual event that exists in Pokémon GO. It includes 3 local live events and the global part, which you can participate in from anywhere.
In the global GO Fest, you can expect some bonuses, special research, Pokémon, and other contents. Some of these are only available to you if you purchase the corresponding ticket.
Overview of Pokémon GO Fest 2024
When is the global GO Fest 2024? The event starts on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM and ends on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 6:00 PM.
How much does the ticket cost? You can purchase the ticket for the global part of GO Fest 2024 for €17.99 in the in-game shop or in the Pokémon GO web store.
Is the ticket mandatory? No. You can also participate in the global part of GO Fest 2024 without the ticket. However, ticket holders will receive more content.
Contents if you have purchased the ticket
The following content is available to you if you have purchased the ticket:
- An exclusive special research featuring the mysterious Pokémon Marshadow.
- Every hour, there will be a global challenge where there is a bonus if solved by the end of the hour.
- Shiny chance is increased.
- 6 special trades per day.
- Collector challenges while the habitats are active.
- Up to 9 additional raid passes from gyms.
- Special 7 km eggs.
- With activated incense, special Pokémon can appear depending on the habitat (Pokémon marked with * may appear as Shiny):

- Unown D*
- Unown G*
- Unown H*
- Unown I*
- Unown N*
- Unown T*
- Unown Y*
- Maracamba
- Corasonn*
- Wuffels*

- Incense can additionally attract Espeon with a daytime aura and Umbreon with a nighttime aura.

(only if you purchased the ticket by June 6, 2024).
Contents if you have not purchased the ticket
If you have not purchased the ticket, you can still enjoy the following bonuses:
- Hourly rotating habitats, each bringing numerous Pokémon (on Saturday).
- All Pokémon of the habitats will appear wildly mixed (on Sunday).
- The duration of incense modules is one hour.
- Field research on the habitats.
- Snapshot surprises.
- The shiny variant of the rare Pokémon Miniras will celebrate its debut.
Ultra Beasts and Necrozma
During the global GO Fest 2024, there will also be Pokémon that you can challenge in raids. The highlight here are probably the Ultra Beasts, which you can find in the 5* raids. With the exception of Venicro and Agoyon, all Ultra Beasts known in Pokémon are represented in raids.
You can additionally find the legendary Pokémon Necrozma in the 5* raids. And as if that wasn’t enough, another game mechanic will be unlocked with Necrozma: fusion.
