Another advantage for ticket holders: In addition, ticket holders can secure up to 2 additional limited researches. You must purchase your ticket early for this. So all players who bought their ticket by July 5 will be granted the first limited research, rewarding you with an encounter with Rocara, a top monster for PvP.
An additional one will follow on August 1 and will give you new shoes for your avatar. Those who secure their ticket only after July 5 but before August 1 can still benefit from one of these researches.
Here we show you all tasks and rewards for the first limited research with Rocara.
What exclusive spawns do ticket holders receive?
During the first event day, there will again be spawns in 4 different habitats that alternate. Ticket holders can catch not only the wild monsters available to all players, but also lure special monsters by using incense.
Incognito M will also celebrate its worldwide shiny debut on these two days. Previously, it could only be obtained at live events. With a bit of luck, one or the other shiny might be there. The following spawns await you:
| Habitat | Exclusive Incense Spawns (only for ticket holders) |
| Quartz Terrarium | Hisui-Fukano Incognito A* Incognito D* Incognito I* Incognito M* Incognito N* Incognito O* |
| Pyrite Sands | Gladiantri* Incognito A* Incognito D* Incognito I* Incognito M* Incognito N* Incognito O* |
| Malachite Wilderness | Venuflibis Incognito A* Incognito D* Incognito I* Incognito M* Incognito N* Incognito O* |
| Aquamarine Coast | Pachirisu Incognito A* Incognito D* Incognito I* Incognito M* Incognito N* Incognito O* |
On Sunday, all monsters from Saturday will spawn again, but without specific habitats. So you can try your luck again on Sunday.
What must be considered? The exclusive spawns are only received if you activate an incense. Please note that adventure incense is excluded from this.
How will you participate in this year’s global GO Fest? Please let us know in the following survey:
Is the event ticket worth it?
How much does a ticket cost? The ticket for the global GO Fest costs a one-time fee of 14.99 Euros and can be purchased in the in-game shop of Pokémon GO. It grants you access to additional event contents on both GO Fest days.
For whom is it worthwhile? The event ticket not only offers you exclusive spawns but also a lot of bonuses. This can be especially interesting for trainers who want to register new monsters, such as Diancie, in the Pokédex and do not want to wait until a general release. Additionally, there are the regional Pokémon from incense. For example, Venuflibis and Pachirisu are usually not found in Germany.
And even for shiny hunters, the event can be interesting due to the increased shiny chances and exclusive spawns. So, it is a good opportunity to secure a shiny Incognito M or keep an eye out for a shiny Gladiantri. The latter can usually only be from 12 km eggs and is therefore correspondingly rare.
Additionally, there are extra raid passes that can be useful in battling Mega-Rayquaza. And the corresponding special research can help you develop a Mega-Rayquaza quickly.
Is a ticket needed? No, those who do not necessarily need these special contents can also participate in the event without a ticket and still use a large part of the contents. Therefore, purchasing a ticket is not strictly necessary. Additionally, monsters like Diancie will eventually be obtainable for all players through other means.
How do you like the contents of this year’s GO Fest? Will you buy a ticket? And if so, will you use the pre-sale to secure the limited researches? Please feel free to let us know here on MeinMMO in the comments and share your thoughts with other trainers.
To prepare optimally for the GO Fest, Prime Gaming is regularly giving away items for Pokémon GO again.
