The Pokémon GO Festival 2023 can also be played without a ticket. We at MeinMMO show you all the content that every trainer can secure without having to spend money on the event.
What event is it about? One of the biggest events in Pokémon GO is already on the starting blocks: The Global GO Fest 2023. Over the course of two days, trainers around the world can look forward to special spawns and bonuses. While ticket holders receive exclusive content, the event can also be played completely free of charge.
Because even without purchasing a ticket, there are still some spawns and bonuses available. We have summarized what they will be below.
When does the GO Fest take place? The Global GO Fest 2023 takes place on the weekend of August 26 and 27 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM each day.
All bonuses for the GO Fest 2023 without a ticket
These bonuses await you: As in previous years, there will again be some bonuses at the GO Fest 2023 that all players can benefit from regardless of whether they purchased a ticket. So you can look forward to the following:
- Incense lasts for one hour
- Double bonus damage when you play raids with friends
- Spawns from various habitats
- Event field research
- Surprises from snapshots
- Remote raid limit increased to 20 per day (from August 26 at 00:00 local time to August 27 at 23:59 local time)
- New avatar items in the in-game shop
- T-shirt for the GO Fest 2023
- Diancie headphones
- Mega Rayquaza outfit
- Mega Rayquaza helmet
- Event stickers in the in-game shop and from gifts and PokéStops

- Exclusive attacks when evolving
What are these attacks? If you evolve monsters during the event accordingly, then the respective evolution will automatically receive the following fast and/or charged attack:
- Safcon to Smettbo: Bug Bite (fast attack)
- Sandan to Sandamer: Night Slash (charged attack)
- Piepi to Pixi: Pound (fast attack)
- Vibrava to Libelldra: Earth Power (charged attack)
- Draschel to Brutalanda: Outrage (charged attack)
- Metang to Metagross: Meteor Mash (charged attack)
- Roselia to Roserade: Bullet Seed (fast attack) and Weather Ball (charged attack)
- Schlurp to Schlurplek: Body Slam (charged attack)
All spawns for the GO Fest 2023 without a ticket
In addition to some bonuses, you can also encounter various Pokémon during the GO Fest 2023 that will spawn for trainers without a ticket in the wild and in raids. There will even be 8 rare monsters that you shouldn’t miss.
One of the highlights is the worldwide debut of Mega Rayquaza. We have summarized below which Pokémon are also waiting to be caught.
Wild spawns: As you may already know from last year’s GO Fest, there will again be plenty of spawns from four different habitats this year. These will change every hour on Saturday and be findable for all players in the wild. On Sunday, these will spawn all day long, without a time limit for the habitats. With a bit of luck, you might even catch some of them as shiny.

Raid bosses: In addition to the special spawns in the wild, there will also be new raid bosses that all players can secure in the raids. Please note that the two proto-Pokémon will only be available all day on Saturday and until 11:00 AM on Sunday. After that, they will be replaced by Mega Rayquaza in the raids, which will appear on Sunday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time. The following bosses await you:
