Today marks the first day of the Pokémon GO Fest 2022. Here you will find all the content that awaits you on Saturday at a glance.
When does Day 1 start? The Pokémon GO Fest 2022 starts on Saturday at 10:00 AM and ends at 6:00 PM. It continues on Sunday, also at 10:00.
How can I participate? There are two options. Either you buy a ticket and get access to all the content of GO Fest 2022. Or you play without a ticket – but in that case, there are only limited features. For example, you can participate in raids, but you will not receive extra raid passes, exclusive spawns, or special research.

What Saturday brings for GO Fest 2022
The Special Research: On Saturday, the special research begins, through which you can secure the mysterious Pokémon Shaymin in its land form – but only with a ticket. The research will offer you various paths to solve and some rewards.

The Habitats: On Saturday, various “habitats” will change hourly, where you will encounter different Pokémon. These are the habitats “City”, “Plain”, “Rainforest”, and “Tundra”. You can play each habitat twice on the GO Fest Saturday if you take the entire duration.

- 4:00 PM: Rainforest

Global Challenges: Every hour there will be a global challenge that all trainers around the world must solve together. Once completed, a special bonus will be unlocked for the remainder of the hour – this can be extra XP, Stardust, and more. Additionally, the “Ultra Bonus” for a future event will be unlocked if enough challenges are completed.
Raids: On Saturday, various raids with interesting Pokémon will take place. Specifically, the 1-star raids with Dratini, which is otherwise very rare. There will also be a costumed Pikachu for GO Fest 2022.
In the legendary raids you can expect Kyogre and Groudon. Important: You can also challenge the raids even if you don’t have a ticket.
The secret raid boss announced for GO Fest 2022 will only appear on Day 2.
Exciting Pokémon and new Shinies: In the wild, you can encounter certain monsters that are usually not found very often, by using a ticket and incense. You also have a chance at different Shiny monsters.

Additionally, you can encounter the Incognito B, G, O, and U – also in their Shiny form.
