What it’s about today: Here in the live ticker on MeinMMO, we will accompany the Pokémon GO Fest 2022 all weekend long. Here you will find out what is happening at the global event, which monsters are on the move, and when there are various bonuses.
Today, the main focus is on the new boss Anego, the Ultra Beasts, and the special research tasks you get.
Live Ticker for GO Fest 2022 – Day 2 with Anego, Rhi, Raids
6:00 PM: And that’s it! It’s 6:00 PM, marking the end of the second day of GO Fest 2022.
The event brought many Pokémon and a completely new type of monster, but also frustration for players who hoped for more shiny Pokémon.
How will this affect upcoming events? After all, there are still several more GO Fest events taking place this year.

5:00 PM: Final stretch, we’re heading into the last hour. By the way, don’t worry if you’re short on time for the special research: You don’t have to finish it today.
4:26 PM: And for the second last time today, the raid bonus is active. The GO Fest wandering has brought me to the city center of Hamburg, where the “Ironman” competition is currently taking place. They swim just 3.8 km, followed by 180 km on a bike, and then still run 42 kilometers.
I don’t know how they do it. But the running distances from the special research now look very, very cute.
4:00 PM: The GO Fest Sunday is a bit slow, it’s heading into the second last hour. Tip: Anego can certainly be beaten in a duo with the right counters.

3:26 PM: The bonus is active again – earn XP, dust, and candies from Anego raids!
3:00 PM: We start the next hour, and it’s again time to do raids. How far are you with the special research?
2:23 PM: The double bonus is active again – if you need XP, take advantage of it. By the way: Brutalanda also provides plenty of XP and is easier to beat.
2:02 PM: Half of the event is over. Time to take stock: Anego and the research tasks are clearly in the foreground, not much is happening around it. How about your shinies? I haven’t seen any yet.

1:52 PM: We are approaching today’s halftime and right now there aren’t many Anego raids going on. Technically, everything seems to be working well – except for that annoying smoke error.
1:24 PM: Once again, the bonus is active!
1:00 PM: 3 hours are over, and the bonus expires again. How far are you in the special research? Have you already unlocked the second one?
12:40 PM: It is quite frustrating that Pokémon attracted by smoke can still vanish. This is a significant disruption when one sees a cool monster, and then it suddenly disappears.
12:26 PM: The raid limit is back up and there are double candies for Anego, as well as double XP and dust from raids.
12:00 PM: It’s lunchtime, and that means the bonus is gone again. Trainers around the world need to complete raids for the double bonus to return.
11:45 AM: By the way: The first Ultra Bonus was successfully unlocked last night. This will give the adventure week in Pokémon GO extra bonuses – what they are is still unknown.
11:28 AM: The required raids have been reached – so you can earn good XP from Anego raids for about half an hour!

10:30 AM: Keep in mind: The bonus is always only active until the next hour and must then be unlocked again. So pay attention to your timing!
10:26 AM: The bonus is now active! And this can be really worthwhile for leveling up: Anego raids provide 10,000 XP and thanks to the bonus now even 20,000. If you even activate a lucky egg and complete the raid during the bonus, you get 40,000 XP.
3 Remote Raid Passes after Event Start in the Shop (with Ticket)
10:24 AM: Check the shop if you bought a ticket. There is a free box with 3 remote raid passes.
10:05 AM: And a global challenge has started! Trainers need to fight in 812,022 raids to unlock double raid XP, double raid stardust, and double Anego catch candies.
10:01 AM: In the raid overview, do you see a wormhole instead of a raid egg? Those are the Anego raids.
10:00 AM: The GO Fest 2022 is entering its second round, and we directly say goodbye to Professor Willow. Instead, Rhi has now taken on the advisory role. The research team member came through the same ultra wormhole as Anego and will likely accompany us today.
9:45 AM: Today, you will encounter all the spawns from yesterday again – only mixed up, not organized into habitats. So keep your eyes open for Pokémon like Milza, Geronimatz, Qurtel, and Co.
9:30 AM: In half an hour, it starts! Also in the second special research, Anego will play a role.
8:55 AM: Overnight, Niantic reported two issues. The “smoke-monster-disappearing” error was said to be a “visual glitch” (via Twitter). The second issue might affect today – trainers were being kicked out of raids. This should also be resolved and hopefully won’t be a problem here (via Twitter).
There is no new information from Niantic regarding the shiny rate of the first day.
8:50 AM: Also, ticket holders should keep an eye on the shop today. Starting at the event start at 10:00 AM, there will likely be a free box with 3 remote raid passes.
8:30 AM: There will also be two special researches today.
- A short one for all players – even without a ticket. You can find the steps of this research here.
- And a longer one that is only for ticket holders.
8:15 AM: You’ve probably already seen it: A wormhole has opened in the loading screen and they will soon be seen in the game as well. The Ultra Beast “Anego” has been officially announced today as the new 5-star raid boss.
8:00 AM: Good morning and welcome to the second day of the live ticker for GO Fest 2022. Today there are no habitats, but a new raid boss is causing a stir.
Day 1 – Habitats, Tasks, Challenges
6:00 PM: Thus ends the first day of GO Fest 2022. Many monsters were caught, numerous raids were completed, and Shaymin was met – only the shiny yield was indeed lacking. Let’s just hope that goes better tomorrow.

Problems with disappearing Pokémon
10:55 AM: The smoke brings more monsters, but if you have a ticket, there is currently a problem where some Pokémon simply disappear when you click on them. There still seems to be no solution for this.
10:45 AM: But don’t send too many gifts yet – in the past, there have also been tasks during the GO Fest where this was required.
10:40 AM: What is currently worthwhile:
- Activate smoke (it apparently even brings more spawns if you’re standing still – at least with a ticket) for special spawns
- Equip your buddy with Knursp if you have one
- Perform mega evolution for more candies
10:32 AM: And here we go! The first global challenge is completed and the bonus is active. For about half an hour, there are now:
- 2x catch stardust
- 2x catch candies
- 2x catch XP

9:37 AM: Today, the global challenges are particularly important. They should ideally be completed as quickly as possible so that all players benefit from the bonuses.
Additionally, these unlock the “Hyper Bonus”. This year, it works a bit differently than usual.
9:35 AM: Additionally, there will be 5-star raids with Kyogre and Groudon today. You should definitely find some teammates for these, as they are not easy to beat.

Quite a lot to do. Therefore, you should prepare:
- Clean out your Pokémon storage again – today you might need space
- Check if you have enough Poké Balls. You can get new ones from PokéStops, research, gifts, or from your buddy.
- See if you have mega evolutions available. Depending on the habitat, these can bring you extra bonuses.
