From July 1 to July 3, 2022, the Pokémon GO Fest 2022 is taking place in Berlin. On-site, you can find special spawns and try to catch monsters in different habitats. Here is an overview.
What is this event? After the global GO Fest 2022, further location-based live events with this name are now taking place. This weekend, the GO Fest is happening in Berlin’s Britzer Park.

The habitats for GO Fest 2022 in Berlin
What are habitats? The habitats correspond to special habitats where different monsters can appear. There are four different ones:
- Electric Garden
- Windy Coast
- Vibrant Meadow
- Melted Rock

Special wild spawns for the Pokémon GO Fest 2022 in Berlin
In addition to the habitats, there are several unusual monsters that you can catch only at the event – but independently of any habitats. These are:
- Snorlax with Cowboy Hat*
- Unown A*
- Unown B*
- Unown E*
- Unown L*
- Unown R*
- Unown S*
- Unown T*
Pokémon and Shiny debuts at the GO Fest in Berlin
Which monsters are new? The event also brings some new monsters and shinies into play. These are:
- The new Ultra Beast Schabelle will be obtainable through research, not through raids. However, its shiny form is still missing.
- Shaymin in its Sky Form – You will also get this through a special research, it cannot be shiny.
- The mushroom Pokémon Tarnpignon comes into play as shiny for the first time.
- Additionally, the monkey monster Grillmak appears as shiny for the first time.
Also, the evolutions of these monsters can now be obtained as shiny if you have collected enough candies for them.
