Fashion Week 2021 in September
When does it start? Today, on Tuesday, September 21, the Fashion Week started at 10:00 AM local time. The event will run for a week and ends on Tuesday, December 28, at 8:00 PM local time.
New Pokémon: Coifwaff celebrates its release during the Fashion Week. It belongs to the “Normal” type and comes from Generation 6. The special thing is that Coifwaff also introduces a new feature, the transformation mechanic, in Pokémon GO. You will learn more about this further down in the article.
Pokémon with costumes: Smettbo, Sniebel, and Elezeba are wearing stylish costumes in Pokémon GO for the first time. However, you will also encounter Kussilla, Kirlia, Sheinux, and Glibunkel in costumes, which already appeared in costumes during the last Fashion Week.

Special shinies: With luck, you can find shiny Smettbo, Sniebel, Kussilla, Kirlia, Sheinux, Glibunkel, or Elezeba – all in costumes. After the Fashion Week, you can continue to encounter shiny Elezeba without a costume. However, Elezeba will remain rare in the wild.

New Transformation Mechanic
What is special: The event unlocks a new mechanic that can now be applied for the first time at Coiffwaff. This involves transformation. With Coiffwaff, you change the cut of its fur.
