Today marks the start of the Pokémon GO Fashion Week 2025. In addition to some dressed-up Pokémon, the event also comes with 2 pretty strong bonuses.
What kind of event is this? The Fashion Week is an event that has occurred sporadically in Pokémon GO over the past few years. This year, the event starts on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM, and ends on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at 8:00 PM.
As the name suggests, some Pokémon have dressed up for the event and will appear in costumes. A costumed Pokémon is even making its debut in the game. But the bonuses of the event are also noteworthy.
Starting Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 12:00 AM, Team Rocket will join the event and launch the Fashion Week: Takeover. Team Rocket will bring some new Crypto monsters, one of which is a really strong attacker.
All Contents of the Fashion Week 2025
What bonuses are available in the event? The event comes with some strong bonuses. These are the following:
- double amount of Stardust when catching Pokémon
- double chance for XL candies when catching Pokémon (from level 31)
- increased chance for the Shiny variant of Kirlia with a stylish look in the wild
- increased chance for Shiny-Coifwaff in field research and raids
- increased chance for the Shiny variants of Smettbo, Dragoran, and Picochilla (all with stylish looks) in field research and raids
Which costumed Pokémon is making its debut? Picochilla with a stylish look will be available in the game for the first time during the event. If you evolve the Pokémon, you will receive Chillabell with a stylish look. Picochilla can also appear as Shiny with some luck.
Which Pokémon are featured in the event? The Pokémon that appear in the wild are tailored for the event. The following Pokémon will appear more frequently:
- Digda with a stylish look*
- Eneco*
- Haspiror*
- Elezeba with a stylish look*
- Coiffwaff*
- Knirfish
- Kirlia with a stylish look* (rare)
If you participate in raids during the event, you will encounter the following Pokémon:
1-Star Raids:
- Sheinux with a stylish look*
- Picochilla with a stylish look*
- Coiffwaff*
3-Star Raids:
- Smettbo with a stylish look*
- Dragoran with a stylish look*
All monsters marked with a * can also be found as Shiny.
What field research is available in the event? There will also be tailored field research available during the event. The following research tasks are available in the event:

What other contents will be available in the event? The event will also feature a collector’s challenge and PokéStop showcases with suitable event Pokémon.
For $5 (around €5), you can also purchase a paid, limited-time research. Here, you will receive rewards of 3,500 XP, 3,500 Stardust, an event pose for your avatar, as well as encounters with Dragoran and Picochilla with a stylish look and Coifwaff.
