What kind of Pokémon is this? Wuffels is a Pokémon from the seventh generation and belongs to the Rock type. It can evolve into Wolwerock, which has a Day Form and a Night Form.

Finding and catching Wuffels
Where can you catch Wuffels? You can find Wuffels since the start of the Alola season on March 1, 2022 in Pokémon GO. However, the Pokémon does not appear in the wild.
At the start of the new season, you can find Wuffels
- In 1-star raids
- In 10 km eggs
Wuffels in raids: In raids, Wuffels has only 3118 CP and can easily be defeated by a trainer alone. Use Pokémon of the types Grass, Ground, Steel, Water, or Fighting as counters in the raid. Mega-Blastoise, Mega-Gyarados, Mega-Venusaur, Mega-Lopunny, Lucario, Machamp, and many other Pokémon are good choices. The best attackers in Pokémon GO, sorted by type.
Wuffels in eggs: If you want to receive Wuffels from a 10 km egg, it is important that you get this egg only after the start of the Alola season. So starting from March 1 at 10:01 AM. You can also click on the egg beforehand to see which Pokémon can hatch from it.
Evolving Wuffels into Wolwerock Day Form & Night Form
How does that work? For 50 candies, you can evolve Wuffels into Wolwerock in the Day Form and Night Form.
How can you control the evolution?
- You get the Day Form of Wolwerock when you evolve Wuffels during the day
- You get the Night Form of Wolwerock when you evolve Wuffels at night
You can distinguish between day and night in Pokémon GO by how bright the sky is in the game. The exact times vary depending on the region.
Similarly works the Eevee evolution into Espeon or Umbreon.
Are there Shiny Wuffels & Shiny Wolwerock?
Yes, you can catch Wuffels in its shiny form. This works after raids if Wuffels was the raid boss and also if you receive one from the 10 km eggs. However, you need luck, as there is only a small chance that Wuffels appears as Shiny.
If you evolve the Shiny further, the Day and Night Form will also turn into Shiny. In the following graphic, we show you the Shiny Wuffels family.
What about the Twilight Form?
From the main series games, we know that Wuffels can evolve into a Twilight Form in addition to the Day and Night Form.
In Pokémon GO, this form is not available yet. It is unclear whether and when Niantic will implement this form of the Pokémon.
