What kind of event is this? The event that brought Knarbon into the game is the Horizonte event. This runs from March 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM to March 11, 2024, at 8:00 PM. It brings some bonuses and various Pokémon, including Knarbon, a Fire-type Pokémon from the 9th generation of games.
How can I catch Knarbon? During the event, you can find Knarbon alongside other Pokémon in 2 km, 5 km, and 10 km eggs. The chance is highest in 10 km eggs, as a trainer on Reddit discovered.
After the event, Knarbon will only be found in 10 km eggs. The unique thing about this Pokémon: it has not just one, but 2 potential evolutions.
How to obtain Crimanzo and Azuglaris when evolving Knarbon
How can I evolve Knarbon into Crimanzo? To obtain Crimanzo, you first need to set Knarbon as your buddy. Then, while it is your buddy, you must defeat 30 Psychic-type Pokémon. The Pokémon do not need to be defeated by Knarbon itself; it just needs to be your buddy during that time.
How can I evolve Knarbon into Azugladis? For the evolution of Knarbon into Azugladis, you also need to choose Knarbon as your buddy. While it accompanies you, you must defeat 30 Ghost-type Pokémon and then you will have the option to evolve Knarbon into Azugladis.
How can I evolve Knarbon the fastest? Even during the evolution of Rasaff to Epitaff, there was the mechanic where you had to defeat Pokémon while you had Rasaff as your buddy. It didn’t matter whether you defeated Pokémon in the battle league, in gyms, in practice battles, or in duels against friends.
In a duel against your friends, you can defeat the necessary Pokémon the fastest. Coordinate with a friend so that they set up, for example, 3 weak Ghost-type Pokémon if you want to obtain Crimanzo. Defeat your friend 10 times, and you will have successfully completed the 30 defeated Pokémon.
