At the end of August, the final of the GO Fest 2022 will take place in Pokémon GO. We summarize all information about the global event.
When will the GO Fest final 2022 take place? The closing event for the Pokémon GO Fest 2022 will run on Saturday, August 27. After three local GO Fests in Berlin, Seattle, and Sapporo, this will again be a global variant for all players worldwide.
Do I need a ticket? The event will bring content that will only be unlocked for ticket holders.
- If you have already participated in the global GO Fest in June 2022 with a ticket, you do not need an additional ticket. You will receive the closing ticket at no extra cost.
- Alternatively, there is a separate ticket for the closing event. It will cost $10.99 (approximately 10 – 11 Euros) and will be available at a later time.
Do I need a ticket for all bonuses? There has been no detailed announcement of the bonuses that will be available during the closing event. However, it is conceivable that some bonuses will also be obtainable without a ticket – at least that was the case in past GO Fests.
What does the closing event of GO Fest 2022 bring?
This content is already known: After the first appearance of the first Ultra Beast at GO Fest 2022, various monsters appeared at the local GO Fests over the past weeks.
- The global GO Fest 2022 introduced Anego – the first Ultra Beast in the game.
- In Berlin, players could catch the monster Schabelle.
- In Seattle, Masskito followed.
- And in Sapporo, you could secure Voltriant.
So far, all these monsters have been event-exclusive. However, they will return for the global GO Fest and all 4 will be catchable.
In addition, it is expected that the Zenith form of Shaymin will play a role. Although it has not been specifically announced yet, it was shown in the Pokémon Presents stream in connection with the GO Fest.
This Shaymin form has also only been catchable at the local GO Fests up to now. The regular Shaymin version, however, was already catchable at the global GO Fest.
It is certain that there will be a special research for the closing event that all players with a ticket can complete. It is likely that Zenith Shaymin will be included.
Return of the Professor? In terms of story, we will probably experience the return of Professor Willow – or at least find out what exactly happened to him. The conclusion of the story surrounding the Ultra Research Team member “Rin” and Willow has been announced for the event.
Are there additional bonuses? These are all the known contents so far, but it is to be assumed that further details and bonuses for the event will be published ahead of the GO Fest closing event.
