What happens in the game? Today, on December 13, 2020, the second day of the Community Days in December is taking place. This is the last Community Day event in the year 2020. To help you make the most of the event, we provide you with an overview of the key information.
- The current bonuses
- The Shinies
- Buy ticket – Yes or No?
Which bonuses are active today?
When does it run? From 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM today, you will receive the following bonuses in the game.
Spawns and Shinies: The following species will appear significantly more frequently in the wild during the event. Niantic also increased the Shiny chances for these Pokémon. Trainers had great success with numerous Shiny catches on the first day. It is reasonable to assume that this will remain successful on day 2 as well.
- Charmander
- Electabuzz
- Magmar
- Magikarp
- Porygon
These bonuses are still active: Today, you will again receive double Stardust for catching Pokémon. Combined with incense, which is more effective and lasts for 3 hours, you can take advantage of this and fill your dust reserves.
Additionally, the distance required to hatch eggs is reduced by half. However, the chance of Shinies from the wild is reportedly significantly higher. Trainers have reported that they did not notice any significant increases in Shiny chances from eggs on Saturday.
Eggs: In the 2 km eggs, you can find the following specimens:
- Croagunk
- Shinx
- Treecko
- Torchic
- Squirtle
- Swablu
- Snivy
- Dratini
- Deino
- Chespin
- and Fennekin
Raids and Mega-Raids: The following opponents can be found in raids. They will remain until tonight at 10:00 PM:
- Croagunk
- Shinx
- Treecko
- Torchic
- Squirtle
- Swablu
- Snivy
- Dratini
- Deino
- Chespin
- and Fennekin
In Mega Raids, you will encounter Mega Charizard X more frequently during the event.
Moves: Keep in mind that during the Community Day event, you can teach your Pokémon special moves. We have compiled the best moves that your Pokémon should learn now.
Is the 1€ ticket worth it?
What is it? In the Pokémon GO shop, you can buy a ticket for the Community Day for about 99 cents. It is divided into four chapters with three quests each and only requires you to catch certain Pokémon. These are Pokémon that will spawn more frequently during the Community Day.
The tasks are therefore quite simple. The rewards, however, are significant. You can look forward to
- Ultra Balls
- Experience points
- Stardust
- Berries
- Sinnoh Stones
- a Premium Raid Pass
- a Charged TM
Is it worth it? Particularly the two Premium TMs as rewards make this ticket purchase interesting for trainers. With the Premium TMs, your Pokémon can learn moves that are no longer available. These are attacks that were once in the game but then became unavailable to learn. Often, these are very strong attacks, making a Premium TM worthwhile.
Those who want to teach their Pokémon such moves will have the opportunity through this ticket.
We have compiled all tasks and rewards for the 1€ ticket for the Community Day in December.
How do you like the Community Day in December? Is everything going according to your expectations or did you hope for more?
