Which events are particularly worth it in March?
Themed events:
- Here, especially the beginning with “Welcome to Alola” (from March 1 to March 9) is worth it. During the event, you can catch new Pokémon that are released for the first time in Pokémon GO. There will also be a collector challenge, special raids, and field research for you.
- At the Color Festival (from March 15 to March 20), we expect colorful Pokémon and cool avatar clothing.
- Magnificent Jungle runs from March 22 to March 29. According to Niantic, you can expect a “jungle adventure inspired by the Alola region”. A new Shiny will also be released. All info on the Shadow Jungle event.
Raids: Right from March 1, Kapu-Riki returns as a new legendary raid Pokémon to Pokémon GO. It belongs to the types Electric and Fairy and comes from the 7th generation. This is especially worthwhile for collectors. There is not yet a chance for a Shiny here.
The spotlight hours are unfortunately not particularly strong in March. Although you can again take advantage of good bonuses and fill up your stardust and candy supplies, there aren’t really strong Pokémon running during the Tuesday events this time.
Do you have a favorite among the new events? Are you looking forward to certain Shinys or are you even hoping for Zarude in the jungle event? Let us know and share your opinion here on MeinMMO in the comments.
