Ninjatom, Shiny Raupy, and Safari Zone coming on November 1
From November 1, trainers will have the opportunity for new field research related to Bug-type. More information about the new field research can be found in our article.
- Ninjatom will replace Suicune as a research breakthrough. It will be available for the first time in Pokémon GO.
- New field research related to Bug-type Pokémon will be available. It cannot be ruled out that Nincada and Ninjask will also be obtainable.
- Shiny Raupy and its family will be available for capture for the first time.
- The Halloween 2018 event will end on November 1. Take the chance to catch various Ghost-type Pokémon that will appear more frequently.
- A new Safari Zone featuring the Bug-type Pokémon Pinsir will start in Taiwan, which will also appear in its shiny form.
A Honor Day for Gengar on November 3
On November 3, the Gengar Day will take place. The Ghost-type Pokémon will dominate gyms for three hours and can learn two new moves. Additionally, you can encounter shiny Gengar.
November 10 – The Community Day with Feurigel
On November 10, the Community Day of the month will take place. This time it’s all about the Fire-type Pokémon Feurigel. Additionally, you will receive double XP and Stardust for catching Pokémon.
November 16 – Release of Pokémon Let’s GO
On this day, the new Pokémon game “Let´s Go, Pikachu/Eevee” will be released on the Nintendo Switch. In connection with this game, Pokémon together with Niantic announced the new Pokémon Meltan. This and its evolution Melmetal can be earned through new special research in Pokémon GO. It is suspected that Meltan will be brought into the world of Pokémon GO along with the new Pokémon game.
On November 20, Giratina exits the raids
On November 20, the Giratina raids will end. Until then, you have time to challenge the legendary Ghost and Dragon-type Pokémon. Giratina is part of the dimension trio from Generation 4. It can be assumed that after Giratina, either Dialga or Palkia will be available as raid bosses. They are also part of the dimension trio.
