In Pokémon GO the event Visit from the Ultra Dimension
has been announced, which kicks off the GO Fest 2024. What exactly to expect has been compiled by MeinMMO.
What kind of event is this? The event Visit from the Ultra Dimension
will take place immediately before the GO Fest 2024. It starts on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 10:00 AM and will run until Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
In line with the content of GO Fest 2024, the event will primarily focus on the Ultra Beasts. You can encounter these in raids and even through a limited-time research.
A different Ultra Beast every day
Which Ultra Beasts are in raids? During the event, there will be one Ultra Beast available every day that you can find, defeat, and catch in 5*-raids. Additionally, the respective Ultra Beasts available in raids will also have a raid hour from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the days they are available in raids.
The schedule for the Ultra Beasts is as follows:
- Monday, July 8: Schlingking*
- Tuesday, July 9: Anego*
- Wednesday, July 10: Kaguron* (Southern Hemisphere), Katagami* (Northern Hemisphere)
- Thursday, July 11: Muramura (Eastern Hemisphere), Kopplosio (Western Hemisphere)
- Friday, July 12: Masskito* (America and Greenland), Schabelle* (Europe, Middle East, Africa, India), Voltriant* (Asia-Pacific)
All Pokémon marked with a * can also appear as shiny.
What’s included in the limited-time research? There will also be a limited-time research during the event. By completing the research, you can encounter all Ultra Beasts that you can also find in raids during the event.
What bonuses are there at the event? There will be bonuses during the event, some of which will even extend beyond the event and thus also be available during GO Fest 2024.
- Remote raid limit will be increased to 20 remote raids (from July 8, 2024, to July 11, 2024)
- Remote raid limit will be completely lifted (from July 12, 2024, to July 14, 2024)
- A guaranteed XL candy when trading Pokémon starting from Trainer Level 31 (from July 8, 2024, at 10:00 AM to July 14, 2024, at 11:59 PM)
More content of the event
Pokémon backgrounds: If you catch certain Pokémon after raid battles during the event, you have a chance for them to receive a special background. You can see this in the summary of the Pokémon. These special backgrounds have previously only been available to visitors of live events.
Global challenge: There will also be a global challenge during the event that can be completed collectively by all trainers worldwide. This challenge starts on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at 1:00 AM and runs until Friday, July 12, 2024, at 9:00 PM.
If the challenge is successfully completed, all trainers will receive special Ultra Balls for encounters with Ultra Beasts during GO Fest 2024, which will make them easier to catch.
Additionally, team power in raids where you are playing in team-play will recharge faster until July 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
Ticket for the event: From July 8, 2024, at 10:00 AM until Sunday, July 14, 2024, at 6:00 PM, you can also purchase a ticket. It will cost $5 (around €5) and provides you access to a limited-time research as well as some raid bonuses.
Raid bonuses:
- 5,000 additional experience points for a successful raid
- Double amount of stardust for 5*-raids
- 1 additional candy after 5*-raids
- 1 additional XL candy after 5*-raids
- Up to 2 additional raid passes for spinning gyms

- 10 Cosmog candies
- 5 Anego XL candies
- 5 Masskito XL candies
- 5 Schabelle XL candies
- 5 Voltriant XL candies

You have until Sunday, July 14, 2024, at 8:00 PM to collect all rewards. The bonuses also apply during GO Fest 2024.
