In Pokémon GO the event “Jump into Spring” starts, which is active over Easter 2023. It brings new Pokémon and some bonuses that we show you here in the overview with start and shinies.
What kind of event is this? Every year at Easter time, there is an event in Pokémon GO that rewards you appropriately with egg bonuses and special Pokémon.

“Jump into Spring”: Start, Bonuses, Pokémon, Shinies, Raids
When is the start and end? The event starts today, Tuesday, April 4th, at 10:00 AM local time. It will then be active until Monday, April 10th, at 8:00 PM local time.
What bonuses are there?
- When hatching eggs, you will receive double the amount of candies
- If you activate lucky eggs during the event, they will last for one hour
- Eggs placed in incubators during the event will hatch twice as fast
Which new Pokémon are coming? For the first time, you will encounter the humming fly Pokémon “Wommel” and its evolution “Bandelby” in Pokémon GO. The evolution costs 50 candies.
Pokémon in costumes: During the event, you can catch Pokémon adorned with cherry blossoms. These include Pichu*, Pikachu*, Raichu*, Evoli*, Aquana, Blitza, Flamara, Psiana, Nachtara, Folipurba, Glaziola, and Feelinara (Pokémon marked with a star can be caught as shiny).
Pokémon in the wild: Pikachu with cherry blossoms*, Pummeluff*, Evoli with cherry blossoms*, Marill*, Flurmel*, Haspiror with flower crown*, Scoppel*, and Wommel will appear more frequently in the wild during the event. With a bit of luck, you may encounter Chaneira with a flower crown* and Togetic with a flower crown*.

Eggs (2 km): From the 2 km eggs that you receive and hatch during the event, the following Pokémon can hatch: Evoli with cherry blossoms*, Pichu with cherry blossoms*, Togepi with a flower crown*, Azurill*, Wonneira with a flower crown*, Owei*, Riolu*, and Wommel.
Collection challenge and research: As rewards from new field research that you receive during the event, you get encounters with Pikachu with cherry blossoms*, Chaneira with a flower crown*, Evoli with cherry blossoms*, and Togetic with a flower crown*. For the collection challenge “Jump into Spring”, you will receive XP, Stardust, and a lucky egg.
