Double XP, Stardust bonuses and more Pokémon in the wild. These and other Pokémon GO bonuses are only active for a few more hours.
Trainers around the world worked together last weekend and were duly rewarded. Rewards such as double experience points or shorter distances for hatching eggs were unlocked for players worldwide. Initially, these rewards were only supposed to be active for two days, but Niantic extended the duration by three more days.
Now there are only a few hours left to take advantage of the Pokémon GO event bonuses. Tonight the event ends.
Double XP, Rewards – How much time is left?
In the last few days, you could take advantage of many cool bonuses in Pokémon GO that improved your accounts and upgraded collections. There were plenty of experience points due to the double XP factor and many eggs were hatched, as they only need a third of the kilometers now.
Originally, these rewards were only supposed to be active in the game for 48 hours, but Niantic extended the bonuses for 72 hours.
The official end is now Friday, July 28, 2017, at 2:00 AM German time. So tomorrow morning! You can still take advantage of the following bonuses in the last hours:
- Reduced distance for eggs 2KM-, 5KM- and 10KM
- Increased spawn of wild Pokémon
- Double Stardust
- Double Candy
- Double Experience Points
- Reduced distance for Buddy Pokémon
These rewards were unlocked during the celebrations of the Pokémon GO Fest. The event took place on the first anniversary of the mobile game and was supposed to remain a positive experience in the minds of participants. Unfortunately, the GO Fest turned into a legendary mess.
Legendary Pokémon are also time-limited!
In Pokémon GO, you can now also find the first legendary Pokémon. These are Lugia and Articuno.
At first, it was unclear whether these would stay in the game forever or would have to leave soon again. Now it is clear that at least Articuno will have to leave. The developers wrote this in a blog post. The other birds of the legendary trio, Moltres and Zapdos, will also appear in the game soon.
They will also be temporarily activated and will only be available in the game for about seven days before having to leave again.
