Trainers, turn your phones up! The long-awaited music from the city of Lavender returns to Pokémon GO.
The music was already heard last year during the Halloween event and was well received by players. Now the music is returning for Halloween 2018.
What kind of music is it? The music is a melody that played in the red and blue edition on the Gameboy in the city of Lavender. Niantic altered this melody a bit and released it for the Halloween event 2017. Players loved the new music. After the Halloween event ended, many players mourned the soundtrack.
Trainers hoped for a comeback: After the Halloween event 2018 was announced, many players also demanded a comeback of the Lavender music.
Initially, they were disappointed, but now the music can finally be found again in Pokémon GO.
The Lavender music is perfect for Halloween
Ghost Town Lavender: Lavender houses the Pokémon Tower, where the souls of deceased Pokémon found their home.
In line with the Halloween event in Pokémon GO, the music of the Ghost Town returns to the game. During the event, Ghost and Dark-type Pokémon are in the spotlight in Pokémon GO.
Turn on the music: It is worthwhile to play Pokémon GO with sound. How long this music will be heard is unknown. It is assumed that it will disappear after Halloween.
Only heard at night: To hear the music, it must be dark in Pokémon GO. So don’t be surprised if you only hear the normal Pokémon sound during the day.
Players enjoy the music
On Reddit and Twitter, players are excited about the music that finally returned to Pokémon GO.
Great excitement on Reddit: User “EddiOS42” wrote: “GUYS! Lavender music is back in Pokémon GO! Hype!”
Many users agreed with the comment and were also excited about the music. User “JaimeReyna” responded: “It only took the whole event for the music to return. Still awesome! It was fantastic to catch all the new Pokémon last Halloween while listening to this music for hours.”
Halloween event ends soon: Already tomorrow, November 1st, at 10 PM, the Halloween event will end. With the event, the music might also disappear. However, last year the music was still heard the day after the event.
