When does the research end? The current 5th game anniversary event of Pokémon GO ends today, July 15, 2021, at 8:00 PM local time. So if you’re still missing Pokémon for the collector challenge, you should hurry. We’ll show you where to find these monsters.
Here you can find the missing Pokémon
There are various ways to get the remaining Pokémon and thus complete your collector challenge. You can either try to catch some of the monsters in the wild or use lures. Additionally, you can also find Pokémon as rewards in field research tasks and in raids.
These Pokémon are in the wild
You can encounter some of the monsters in the wild, so you don’t have to use a lure. According to Niantic, these Pokémon can appear (via pokemongolive.com):
- Bulbasaur, Charmander & Squirtle
- Treecko, Torchic & Mudkip
- Snivy, Tepig & Oshawott
- flying Pikachu
Use lures
Almost all Pokémon you need for the collector challenge can be found with the help of lures. The following monsters are attracted:
- Bulbasaur, Charmander & Squirtle
- Cyndaquil, Totodile & Chikorita
- Treecko, Torchic & Mudkip
- Turtwig, Chimchar & Piplup
- Snivy, Tepig & Oshawott
- Chespin, Fennekin & Froakie
By the way: During the event, all lures last for one hour each.
Pokémon from research tasks
