Since the Sinnoh Stone is not very common in Pokémon GO, the question arises as to which Pokémon should be developed first. We will help you make the decision.
Together with the Sinnoh Stone, eleven evolutions were introduced that can now be achieved using the stone. In early February, 6 more developments were added. The Sinnoh Stone is rare, and this raises the question of which Pokémon to develop first.
We will show you what the new Pokémon can do and help you make the decision.
Which Pokémon should be developed first
What is the Sinnoh Stone? The Sinnoh Stone is an evolution item that helps 17 Pokémon to evolve. So far, the stone can be obtained as a research breakthrough or from your 7-day Pokéstop spin.
These Pokémon should have priority: First of all, this list is about the usability of the Pokémon. Of course, everyone should also develop their favorites. However, from a pure utility perspective, these Pokémon are the best:
- Snibunna
- Roserade
- Elevoltek
Snibunna
Best Dark Attacker: The Ice and Dark type Pokémon has an enormous attack value. As a Dark attacker, Snibunna is better than Tyranitar in certain situations in terms of damage per second. As an Ice attacker, it ranks behind Mewtwo but ahead of all other Ice Pokémon. Only Mamoswine will be stronger than Snibunna, but this Pokémon has not yet been released.
It is definitely important to have a good Snibunna in your battle team. In terms of its stats, it is definitely one of the best new Pokémon.
Roserade
Best Poison and Grass Attacker: Especially the two Poison attacks that Roserade can learn make it so dangerous and useful. So far, there has been no good Poison attacker, which is why Roserade is timely. Against Fairy Pokémon, it is a real weapon and highly recommended. As a Grass Pokémon, Roserade is also a top choice. With its new move Leaf Storm, it outshines every Pokémon.
Anyone looking for a very good Poison Pokémon with a very high attack value should develop Roserade first. This Pokémon is a great addition to your collection.
Elevoltek
Best Electric Attacker: With Elevoltek, Pokémon GO gains a new, powerful Electric attacker. Elevoltek has the best Electric moveset with Spark and Thunder Shock and in some fights can even surpass Raikou. However, Raikou is still better in some cases, depending on the opponent’s Pokémon.
If you don’t have a good Raikou, you should rely on Elevoltek. The Electric type is often needed in battles, which is why Elevoltek can shine.
Other solid developments
If you have already developed Snibunna, Roserade, and Elevoltek or are simply looking for other good alternatives, then develop the following Pokémon:
- Rihornior
- Kramshef
- Tangoloss
- Yanmega
Rihornior: As a Rock attacker, Rihornior ranks behind Tyranitar with Rock Slide. Whoever didn’t participate in this community day has nothing to lose by developing Rihornior. As a Ground attacker, Rihornior ranks behind Groudon. As an alternative, it is still useful.
Kramshef: Kramshef is another good Dark attacker alongside Snibunna. The difference from Snibunna is only that Snibunna can also be used as an Ice attacker. Nevertheless, developing Kramshef is not a bad idea.
Tangoloss: Compared to Pokémon like Roserade or Venusaur, Tangoloss appears somewhat weaker; nevertheless, this Pokémon is still a good Grass attacker. Moreover, it can take more damage than Roserade and could especially be useful when you need to conserve potions.
Yanmega: With Yanmega, you have one of the best Bug attackers in the game. Its attack Bug Buzz eclipses competitors Pinsir and Scyther. However, those two do have slightly better attack stats. All three Pokémon are therefore at a similar level.
Develop these Pokémon last
Some developments are not useful in battle and should therefore be done last. Rather use your rare Sinnoh Stones on Pokémon that have some battle utility.

These Pokémon currently have little significance:
- Porygon Z
- This Pokémon is of type Normal. This type is not useful against any other type. Its attacks are also not very significant compared to other Pokémon.
- Togekiss
- This Fairy type Pokémon currently has no Fairy fast move and therefore cannot be effectively utilized. Togekiss may soon learn a Fairy fast move, which would make it useful.
- Galagladi
- Galagladi has an interesting combination with Fighting and Psychic types, but unfortunately, its attacks and stats don’t help much. As a Psychic attacker, it faces strong competition, such as Mewtwo or Espeon. As a Fighting Pokémon, its attacks are simply too weak.
- Traunmagil
- Traunmagil is just a weaker form of Gengar. With the Gengar Day, every player should have plenty of strong Ghost-type Pokémon and can delay the evolution of Traunmagil.

- Magbrant
- This Fire Pokémon unfortunately has very weak attacks. There are many stronger Fire Pokémon than Magbrant.
- Schlurplek
- This Pokémon suffers from the same problem as any other Pokémon of its type. It is of type Normal. This type does not effectively hit any other types. Additionally, Schlurplek’s stats are not very good.
- Ambidiffel
- Here we have the same problem as with Schlurplek. The Normal type. In addition, Ambidiffel has no good stats and its attacks do not help it either.
- Skorgro
- Skorgro has neither strong attacks nor a good mix of types (Ground/Flying). Therefore, evolution is only useful for the Pokédex.
- Zwirrfinst
- Zwirrfinst has a very poor attack value and does not benefit from its attacks. Here too, evolution is more beneficial for the Pokédex.
- Frosdedje
- This Pokémon has a weak attack value and low CP. If you need to be economical with your Sinnoh Stones, you should develop Frosdedje last.
Which Pokémon do you want to develop first?
In February, some changes were made to the raid bosses:
