In Pokémon GO the “Young and Wise” event has been announced. In addition to some rare monsters, you can also earn some extra experience points during the event.
What kind of event is this? “Young and Wise” is an event that starts on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 10:00 AM and will be active until Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 8:00 PM.
As the name suggests, there will be primarily young Pokémon to hatch as well as some wise Pokémon that you can face in raids and which are rarely found in Pokémon GO. Additionally, there will be 2 XP bonuses during the event.

Which Pokémon are available in raids? During the event, you can encounter and challenge the following Pokémon in raids:
1-Star Raids:
- Sheinux*
- Zurrokex*
- Balgoras*
- Paragoni*
- Miniras*
3-Star Raids:
- Simsala*
- Kommandutan*
- Sen-Long*
- Damythir*
5-Star Raids:
- Genesect (Freezing Module)* until December 12 at 10 AM
Mega Raids:
- Mega-Banette* until December 12 at 10 AM
- Mega-Latios* from December 12 at 10 AM
Sen-Long and Damythir are likely to be especially interesting because these two Pokémon cannot be caught in the game normally and can only be encountered in events.
All Pokémon marked with an * can also be found in their Shiny form.
Which Pokémon are available in eggs? If you hatch 2 km eggs during the event, you can obtain the following Pokémon:
- Togepi*
- Rabauz*
- Kussilla*
- Mobai*
- Wonneira*
- Mampfaxo*
These Pokémon can also be hatched as Shiny with some luck.
What bonuses are there during the event? If you successfully complete raid battles during the event, you will receive double the amount of experience points. This bonus also applies to hatching eggs.
What other content is available? As usual, there will also be separate field researches in the event, where you can receive event Pokémon as rewards.
