In Pokémon GO there is currently the repeat event for the GO Fest. The event even includes a few free items that you should grab. However, this is only possible if you participated in the first event.
Here’s how to get the free items: If you restarted Pokémon GO at 11 AM, you should find a new event box in the shop. It costs no coins and is located right next to your daily free box. The box should be available throughout the entire event period – so until 2 PM. If you don’t see it, restart the game again.
However, the entire event is only available to players who also participated in the original GO Fest and thus purchased a ticket for the event. After all, the replacement event is intended to serve as compensation for the technical issues at the original fest.
The box contains four useful items:
- 2 Incense
- 2 Remote Raid Passes
In the shop, this corresponds to a value of about 280 coins. Particularly players who are not fans of the new coin system or do not want to spend more real money on the game will be pleased with the items.
How to utilize incense and remote raid passes today
What the items are used for: The free incense is perfect, to make full use of the replacement event. You can use it not only to generally attract more Pokémon. During the event, it also attracts special Pokémon that fit the respective habitats – for example, Unown.
The remote raid pass is ideal for taking down certain raid bosses. Currently, the new Tier 5 boss Genesect is particularly relevant. And with remote raid passes, you can also assist your friends in raids who are not near you.
So, if you coordinate well, you should be able to quickly call a Genesect your own – especially if you use the right counters.
