At the GO Fest, this can be a disadvantage for you because you are supposed to ignite an incense during the special research “A Shining Reunion”. That could result in wasted incense if you have already stacked 4 modules for the 8 hours event time. You will only unlock the research after you completed the special research on Willow’s return.
So first make sure that the special research is active for you and that you have the task open, and then ignite the incense.
