In Pokémon GO, trainers are desperately looking for Minun and Plusle. In this guide, we will show you where to find both and when the chances are even greater.
What is the task? In Pokémon GO, the Hoenn event is currently running, bringing you a limited-time research with a collection task. You are supposed to catch certain species of Pokémon to complete your Hoenn collector challenge.
The task requires you to catch 9 different species, including the two monsters Minun and Plusle. However, these particular ones are causing trainers headaches because they are hard to find.

Where can you find Minun and Plusle?
Field research: Anyone currently wanting to catch Minun and Plusle is having a hard time. One possibility is when completing a specific field research.
- Catch 11 Pokémon
For successfully completing the task, you will then receive an encounter with Minun or Plusle. The chances are supposed to be about 50% for each encounter. However, it can happen that you complete the quest multiple times and receive the same species back to back. So be patient if you want to catch them via research.
But that’s not the only way to get the coveted Pokémon.
Smoke Day with Voltilamm seems ideal for the challenge
What is this? This event was announced by Niantic just recently. On Sunday, January 24, 2021, the smoke day with Voltilamm, Electric, and Dragon Pokémon takes place.
The event starts at 11:00 AM local time. Then the spawns will alternate between Electric and Dragon Pokémon. During the Electric hours, Minun and Plusle can spawn.

This event should significantly simplify the catching challenge for you.
