With the release of the first Einall Pokémon in Pokémon GO, the egg pool has changed. However, the good Pokémon from Generation 5 are extremely rare.
These Pokémon are: Currently, almost all Pokémon, that are available from Gen 5 in the game, can also be hatched from eggs. However, especially the good Pokémon of this generation, meaning those found in 10 km eggs, are extremely rare.
We will reveal to you which of the new Pokémon are particularly rare and on which eggs you should place your bets.
How rare are Lichtel, Kapuno, and Golbit really
Where do the data come from? The analysts from TheSilphRoad have once again recorded their data on the eggs they hatched. For this, they hatched 834 eggs to document the results. We will not count the 7 km eggs here, as they currently contain regional Pokémon.
What can be observed? You have the best chances of getting Gen 5 Pokémon in the 2 km eggs. Dusselgurr and Yorkleff are even the most common Pokémon there. Nagelotz and Felilou are also not that rare.
In the 5 km eggs, the chances of Pokémon are about the same. There are no really rare Pokémon here, and the Gen 5 Pokémon Elezeba, Rotomurf, Tarnpignon, Serpifeu, Floink, and Ottaro lie in the middle with their rarity.
However, it gets particularly interesting with the 10 km eggs. The Pokémon that you don’t find very often in the wild, like Lichtel or Kapuno, are also extremely rare in the eggs. In 163 10 km eggs, there was only one Lichtel and no Kapuno. Golbit and Kastadur could be hatched only twice.
The only silver lining here is Klikk. The Pokémon that can only be obtained from raids and eggs appeared 7 times in the eggs, comparable in frequency to Trasla or Kindwurm.
What does this mean for rarity? The Pokémon that are commonly found in the wild also appear more often in eggs. Rare Pokémon, on the other hand, seem to be extremely rare in eggs as well.
Kapuno has not been hatched yet, making it very similar in rarity to Kaumalat. This Pokémon could also not be hatched even once in the 163 attempts.
So you have to be very lucky to get all the rare and strong Pokémon of the first Gen 5 wave.
