How to defeat Jessie – The best counters
Which Pokémon does Jessie use? If you press on the balloon, you will first fight against Jessie. She uses the following 3 Pokémon:
- Ekans
- Scyther
- Hatchling
In the end, you might encounter an Ekans. If you’re lucky, it could even be shiny.
How do you defeat Jessie? You have many Pokémon to choose from. A good choice is, for instance, a strong ice-type Pokémon like Mamoswine. This way, you can deal with Ekans first and then effectively hit Scyther and Hatchling with charge attacks.
Rock-type Pokémon like Rhyperior or Tyranitar are also a good choice.
Is the battle difficult? It’s really not that challenging. As long as you have strong Pokémon in your team and are not completely ineffective against the 3 monsters, it should be no problem.
How to defeat James – The best counters
Which Pokémon does James use? After you defeat Jessie, James is waiting for you. He also has 3 solid Pokémon:
- Magnemite
- Sneasel
- Tan growth
After a victory, you are guaranteed to receive a Crypto-Magnemite. This can also be shiny with some luck.
How to defeat James? A good option here is Lucario. With its fast charge attack Power-Up Punch, it can deal a lot of damage and is even four times effective against Sneasel.
An alternative could be ground-type Pokémon, like Rhyperior. This method will also work nicely against James.
Is the battle difficult? Sneasel might give you some trouble, but if you have a good counter against it, it should not be a problem. Just use a strong Pokémon that is effective, and you will be successful.
