In Pokémon GO, you can currently find several bird Pokémon in raids. We have looked into how to defeat them, what their weaknesses are, and how strong they are for you.
In addition to 5-star and Mega Raids, there are also 1-star and 3-star raids in Pokémon GO where you can challenge monsters. If you defeat them within the time limit, you will have the opportunity to add the Pokémon to your collection afterward.
In the 3-star raids, you will currently find a selection of various bird Pokémon. We will show you which they are, how to defeat them, and where their strengths lie.
Adebom – Strengths and Weaknesses
Adebom is a Pokémon from the 9th generation. It has the types Flying and Dark and has no evolutions.

What weaknesses does the monster have? If you want to defeat Adebom, you should focus on attacks of the types Rock, Electric, Ice, and Fairy. The monster has weaknesses against these types.
If you have strong attackers of these types, you can defeat the Pokémon on your own.
What strengths does the monster have? Adebom is not particularly well-suited for raids or for use in various battle leagues. For this, you should rather rely on other Pokémon.
Hisui-Washakwil – Strengths and Weaknesses
The Hisui form of Washakwil has the types Psychic and Flying. The original form of Washakwil has existed since the 5th generation and has the types Normal and Flying.

What weaknesses does the monster have? Hisui-Washakwil has a whole range of type weaknesses that you can use against the Pokémon. These are Rock, Ghost, Electric, Fairy, and Dark.
With strong counters, it is not necessary to bring additional trainers for the fight.
What strengths does the monster have? In the list of the best attackers in Pokémon GO, you will find Hisui-Washakwil among the Flying attackers. It currently ranks 10th. In the battle league, however, you should prefer to avoid this Pokémon.
Staraptor – Strengths and Weaknesses
Staraptor evolves from Staravia, which you obtain by evolving Staralili. The monster originates from the 4th generation and has the types Normal and Flying.

What weaknesses does the monster have? If you want to defeat Staraptor in a raid, focus on attacks of the types Rock, Electric, and Ice. For the battle, assuming you have strong attackers, you should not need additional trainers.
What strengths does the monster have? Just like Hisui-Washakwil, Staraptor is also among the best Flying attackers and can be a valuable addition to your team if you are not well equipped here yet.
For use in battle leagues, however, you should rely on other monsters. Staraptor does not really convince here.
Dartignis – Strengths and Weaknesses
The Fire-Flying Pokémon Dartignis evolves from Dartiri and can further evolve into Fiaro. It belongs to the monsters of the 6th generation.

What weaknesses does the monster have? If you want to challenge Dartignis in raids, you should mainly focus on attacks of the type Rock. Dartignis has a double weakness against this type.
It also has a single weakness against attacks of the types Water and Electric. You should also be able to defeat Dartignis on your own if you have decent counters.
What strengths does the monster have? As an attacker for raids, Fiaro is less suitable. There are stronger monsters that you should use instead.
However, Fiaro has its place in the battle league. In the Super League, it is among the upper midfield, and in the Hyper League, it is even stronger. For the battle league, you should use a Top Fast TM and teach Fiaro Incinerate.
In addition to the 3-star raids, there are of course also Mega and 5-star raids in the current month, where you can challenge and capture Mega Evolutions and legendary bosses. We have compiled which they are in our overview with all legendary raid bosses, Mega raids, and raid hours in February 2025.
