Which bonus is active on July 7? Today you will receive double Stardust for catching Pokémon. Additionally, you will encounter Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile more frequently in the wild today. All three can be found and caught as Shiny with some luck.
These bonuses are active from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM. Starting at midnight, you can expect the next bonuses.
- On July 6, there were double experience points for catching Pokémon and more encounters with Bulbasaur wearing a party hat, Charmander wearing a party hat, and Squirtle wearing a party hat.
Anniversary Event in Brief Overview
How long does it run? The anniversary event runs in Pokémon GO from July 6 to July 12 at 8:00 PM local time. Until then, you can expect a different bonus every day.
Which bonuses are active? Besides the daily changing bonus, there are features that are active throughout the event:
- Increased chance of becoming lucky friends
- Increased chance of receiving lucky Pokémon in trades
- Chance for at least 7.77 Giblins’ coins when spinning a PokéStop with a gold lure module
Additionally, you will find Squirtle wearing a party hat in the wild, which is in a celebratory mood for the anniversary. Those who want can evolve Squirtle into Wartortle and Blastoise, who are also wearing party hats.
