Don’t plan anything on these days if you want to catch Shinys in Pokémon GO. The dates for the Community Days in October and November 2018 for Pokémon GO are set.
More dates for the Community Days 2018: On the website, Niantic has already announced the upcoming dates for the next Community Days in 2018. However, December is missing.
Community Days in September, October and November
Chikorita in September: Next month, you can expect a Community Day featuring Chikorita. This is the Grass-type starter Pokémon from Generation 2. We already have an overview with the first details for you.
Event in October: The Community Day in October will take place on Sunday, October 21st. There you will find Tanhel.
Event in November: In November, there will again be a Community Day on a Saturday. This will take place on November 10, 2018.
Which exclusive monsters will be included is still to be announced by Niantic. After Chikorita appears more frequently in September, fans are also expecting more starter Pokémon from Generation 2, such as Totodile and Cyndaquil.
Back in rotation? Niantic introduced variety into the game with the starters of Generation 1. So, a different monster was featured between the starters during a Community Day. A similar scheme may also happen with the starters of Generation 2.

Summer Tour ending soon
The grand Summer Tour of Pokémon GO is coming to an end. There will be one last stop in Yokosuka (Japan) when the Safari Zone takes place. It starts on August 29 and ends on September 2. Trainers will then have a worldwide shiny.
