Every month, a Community Day takes place in Pokémon GO. The dates for the C-Days in June, July, and August are now confirmed. We at MeinMMO will show you which days you should mark thickly in your calendar and which monsters the community hopes for.
What event is it about? In Pokémon GO, a special event takes place every month in the form of a Community Day for the trainers. A specific Pokémon is always the focus, which means it spawns more frequently during the event period. There will be similar events in June, July, and August.
When are the next Community Days? As Pokémon GO announced on their website, the C-Day dates for the upcoming season are set. Therefore, make sure to keep the following days free in June, July, and August:
- Saturday, June 25, 2022
- Sunday, July 17, 2022
- Saturday, August 13, 2022
However, Niantic has not yet announced a specific time window. Recently, the duration of the Community Days was reduced from 6 hours to 3 hours. Since the last two C-Days took place from either 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM local time or from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, the planned dates will likely align with these times.
Which monsters can you expect during the Community Days?
Which monsters will be the focus during the Community Days in June, July, and August is not yet known. In the past, the choice of Pokémon for the C-Day has mainly depended on the theme of the respective season.
The Alola season ends on June 01, 2022, and nothing more specific is known about the upcoming season yet. Nevertheless, trainers in the reddit community already have clear ideas about which Pokémon they wish for during the Community Days.
Which Pokémon do trainers hope for?
Since Niantic has been tight-lipped about the Pokémon for the upcoming C-Days, trainers in the reddit community are speculating vigorously about which ones it could be.
High on the list is the Dark and Dragon-type Pokémon Kapuno, which is usually very rarely caught in the game. Other monsters, such as Staralili or the starters from Generation 6, are also mentioned in the suggestions (via reddit.com):
- TheChaoticCrusader: ‘I will make a guess and assume Kapuno for June and Generation 6 plant starters for July, based on what they have done in the past; August has no indication. I could be wrong about this.’
- fillmorecounty: ‘Please let it be Kapuno, the Shiny is so rare, it spawns rarely, so it is pretty much exclusive to 12 km eggs’
- GaryFahrenheit: ‘I keep seeing people saying Kapuno is happening in June to mimic Kaumalat from last year, but I would guess for July to have some distance from the GO Fest that takes place a month earlier this year.’
- Jordaroo92: ‘If we get the Kalos starter Community Days this year and assuming that the December C-Day is a mix of everything as in previous years, Igamaro has to show up in June or July. This way we get Fynx in August/September and Proxy in October or November.’
- krispyboiz: ‘I keep hearing rumors that Staralili is in the June C-Day. Did any content creator leak this to someone, lol?’
