Trainers are eagerly waiting in Pokémon GO for more Pokémon from Generation 6 in the game. Dataminers now show that something is changing in the code of Pokémon GO. A large wave of Pokémon has been added.
This is what happened: The dataminers from the group PokeMiners have previously revealed many contents of Pokémon GO before their actual release. They have earned trust with their findings. On April 7th, they shared a new discovery with the reddit community. It shows 32 Pokémon from Generation 6.
Here we show you which Pokémon these are and what this finding means for you.
The PokeMiners’ Finding
These are the Pokémon: In the leak, the analysts write, “Another wave of Gen 6 Pokémon has been added.” There is a graphic that shows 32 Pokémon and their shinies. We embed the reddit post here so you can see the new Pokémon.

Analysts regularly examine the code of Pokémon GO and look for changes. When significant changes are seen there, the dataminers typically compile the new information into summaries or graphics to share with the rest of the players.
This allows them to discover what’s happening in the game before the developers make official announcements, what functions are being worked on, and what could happen in the next update.
What does this mean for you?
You need to know: Just because these Pokémon were found in the code, it does not mean that you will all have access to them soon. A release date for these Pokémon is not yet foreseeable.
Partially, the Pokémon families in the shown overview are incomplete. The Pokémon Scampisto, which we know will be released next week with the Rivalenwoche in Pokémon GO, is missing in this overview.
On the other hand, we find some Pokémon from the graphic like Pam-Pam, Xerneas, and possibly also Feelinara on the new loading screen. This suggests that at least a small selection of the shown Pokémon in the datamining could be released soon.
So consider this leak with a certain degree of skepticism. Which of the shown Pokémon are you particularly looking forward to? Let us know here on MeinMMO in the comments what you wish for.
