In Pokémon GO there are news from data miners. The update 0.161.1 is being rolled out and mainly brings a bunch of new Crypto Pokémon.
What’s included in the update: Really a lot of new things does not bring the update, but the new Crypto Pokémon stand out here. In total, there are 458 that have been found.
Besides the Cryptos, there is also news about the mysterious Pokémon Genesect. Interesting details have also been discovered there.
458 Cryptos found – Will they all come now?
What the find means: The 458 Crypto Pokémon are practically all the missing Cryptos. So far, the Crypto Pokémon came in small waves in the game files, but now Niantic just merged the remaining ones.
But that doesn’t mean that all the Cryptos will come into the game at once. Niantic probably just doesn’t want to show their cards anymore and surprise players with new Cryptos. News about Genesect: The mysterious Pokémon Genesect is not yet in the game, but there is now something new about the monster. In the last update, data miners found some assets that could not be assigned.
Now it is known: These belong to Genesect. They are the modules that the Pokémon can carry. With these modules, it could change its type in the console games and was, depending on the module, of the type Water, Electric, Fire, or Ice.
This could also work in Pokémon GO. Data miners suspect that this might allow for form changes. You give Genesect the desired module and it changes its type. However, these are just speculations and not confirmed.
News about sponsored stops: A few days ago, Niantic announced that as a small business, you will soon be able to buy PokéStops. Accordingly, some files have now been found.
