The data miners have discovered new texts in Pokémon GO that hint at new Pokémon sizes and an Eevee ticket. We have taken a look at what has been discovered in the game’s code and summarized all the information for you.
What happened? The PokeMiners, a group of data miners, regularly search the code of Pokémon GO for new information and publish their findings. This group has now found new texts in the game. We examined what these texts are about and explain what they mean for you.
These are the new texts
Through searching the game code, data miners have found numerous innovations in Pokémon GO in the past, which were known before their actual release. Recently, lewymd shared the current findings of the data miners on reddit (via reddit.com). We show you what they are:
New sizes for Pokémon
Previously, you could catch Pokémon in sizes XS to XL in the game. There are even medals for catching a certain number of monsters in a specific size, such as big Magikarp or tiny Rattata. Now, the PokeMiners have found texts indicating that there will also be Pokémon in XXS and XXL in the future. In the code, it looks like this:

First texts for the Community Day with Eevee have also been found. Here, the ticket name has been changed from “Who You Want to Be” to “What You Want to Be”. Additionally, there will be 5 photobombs with snapshots again during the Eevee event. Furthermore, all texts related to Professor Willow have been adjusted according to the event.

In June, Niantic announced that they would be removing some of the Corona bonuses introduced in 2020 to return to their original game concept. However, some individual bonuses will remain in place. To motivate players to go outside again, new explorer bonuses will also be introduced.
For this reason, data miners have found texts in the game’s code about the explorer bonuses that will soon be available to trainers. These include the following:
- guaranteed gifts from spinning PokéStops
- increased incense effectiveness while moving
- 10× XP for visiting PokéStops for the first time
- up to 2 Raid Passes per day from Gym Photo Disc spins
These details had, however, already been officially confirmed by Pokémon GO before (via pokemongolive.com). The texts in the code look like this:

Finally, the PokeMiners found more texts. These mostly deal with hints and instructions regarding the upload of PokéStops. However, in the last part, no text was found in the code yet. Therefore, this position is empty.

It may be that these leaked details could change again or not appear in Pokémon GO at all. Therefore, you should always view them with a certain degree of skepticism.
