In Pokémon GO there could soon be an update regarding the egg slots. Data miners have found hints of a slot for special eggs.
This has been discovered: The data miners from “Pokeminers” have taken a close look at the code of Pokémon GO again and have come across something new related to eggs.
A new egg slot is said to be coming, specifically designed for special eggs. Many trainers are now hopeful that an update will soon come to the game that will significantly simplify the gameplay.
New Egg Slot Just for Special Eggs
This could be behind the find: A new egg distribution has been found between “Normal” and “Special”. In addition, the new egg slot was discovered with a background and a new page in the game.
Now it can be assumed that Pokémon GO will soon categorize different eggs between “Normal” and “Special”. Normal eggs will get one egg slot, while the new egg slot will be for the special eggs.
The special eggs could be the curiosity eggs from Team Rocket or also the eggs that you receive from the weekly reward.
This would simplify things: Until now, it has always been the case that you had to keep an egg slot free to get to these special eggs. Only if you had a maximum of 8 eggs could you also receive a crypto egg or the egg from the weekly reward. If you accidentally spun a PokéStop and received a regular egg there, you had to hatch an egg again to get the special eggs.
With the update, it could be easier to obtain the special eggs, and you wouldn’t have to clear an egg slot anymore. This would be a significant simplification in the search for eggs.
