Are there perhaps going to be daily quests in Pokémon GO soon? New discoveries from data miners give hope.
Many players complain that there are too few tasks in Pokémon GO and that there are no clear goals. With daily quests, at least small tasks would be covered. Daily quests are tasks that, as the name suggests, change daily. For example, a daily quest could be “Catch 5 Pidgeys,” and as a reward, you might receive additional experience points or loot such as incense or Poké Balls. Initial information has been found in the metadata of Pokémon GO.
Quests in Pokémon GO
In the game’s data, hints of 3 different daily quests have been found that may soon be available in the game. These include:
- The first catch of the day
- The first PokéStop of the day
A third function has not yet been clearly identified. In the data, you can see the functions “.Quest_Unknown_Type”, “.Quest_First_Catch_Of_The_Day” and “.Quest_First_Pokestop_Of_The_Day”
According to PokémonGOHub, these functions are already present in the game’s metadata and could therefore be activated at any time. The rewards for these quests are not yet clear. You might receive an incubator as a reward for completing the tasks. It is also possible that you only have a chance at receiving an incubator, and the actual quest rewards are other items. A specific number of potions, Poké Balls, or a combination of both items would certainly be conceivable for completing a quest. Since the quests can be done daily, the chance of purchasable items like incense or incubators is likely to be low.
So far, there have been no official hints regarding these functions. As soon as there are news about it, we will report on it.
