In Pokémon GO there were Cupidos in raids yesterday. However, the implementation has sparked criticism among trainers.
What kind of raid is this? On yesterday’s Valentine’s Day, the legendary Pokémon Cupidos was available in Pokémon GO raids. Alongside Pokémon like Boreos, Voltolos, and Demeteros, it is part of the so-called forces of nature
.
It could be found as part of the Carnival of Love
-event in the game and was waiting to be defeated and caught by you. However, the implementation of the top raids has led to criticism from many players.
Criticism of impractical times and difficult prerequisites
What is being criticized? There are several points regarding the top raids that trainers are criticizing. The first point of criticism is the date. The raids with Cupidos were available only yesterday, on Valentine’s Day during the week. Additionally, the times to challenge the Pokémon were difficult for most trainers to manage.
The raids started only during the times of 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. They were also only available for 30 minutes each. This made it particularly difficult for trainers who had to work during these times to participate in the raids.
Additionally, the raids could only be done on-site. The use of remote raid passes was not possible. Furthermore, the difficulty of the raids required at least 4 trainers, if not more.
All this has ultimately led to many trainers feeling that the raids were unmanageable, which can be very frustrating, especially since the Pokémon was only available yesterday and it is unclear when it will appear in the game again.
What does the community say? Trainers from the community point out that they were unable to participate in the raid due to the given conditions. Here are some of the comments on this:
I cannot participate in this raid because it is too exclusive and not accessible enough for me
, writes a trainer.I wish there would be a spawn every hour. Why not between 2 PM and 4 PM?
, asks another trainer. The limited time is absolutely terrible. Not only do YOU need to have time to reach one of the raids, you also need at least 3 or 4 other people (probably more to be sure) who have the same time. On a weekday
, another trainer notes. When I finished work, there were no more raids in my city at that time
, reads another comment.
What do you think about the raids with Cupidos? Were you unable to participate for the reasons mentioned, or were you able to catch one? Do you also think that such events should not take place under these conditions but should be more accessible? Feel free to share your opinion in the comments. We have compiled more events in February 2024 in Pokémon GO for you.
