The release of Wizards Unite is approaching, and it could also be interesting for Pokémon GO. Players are already speculating about what event to expect at the release.
Is an event conceivable? In November 2018, Ingress Prime was released by Niantic. Accordingly, an event was held in Pokémon GO, featuring Shiny Ponita and Tragosso.
Now the release of Wizards Unite is imminent. It’s only logical that celebrations would begin in Pokémon GO as well. But what could await us?
These Shinys could come soon, according to players
Is Shiny Abra coming? The hottest candidate for a release is Shiny Abra. The Psychic Pokémon was mistakenly brought to the GO Fest in Chicago for a few minutes. The error was quickly corrected.
Abra could come with the release of Wizards Unite. After all, Abra is a Pokémon that possesses “magical powers.” For example, it can teleport in the console games. There couldn’t be a better Pokémon for a wizard game.
Shinys for every Hogwarts house? In the Harry Potter saga, there were four different houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each of the houses also has a crest animal.
Some fans now suspect that a suitable Pokémon for each crest animal could come into the game. We show you the players’ speculations:
- Gryffindor has a lion as its crest animal: Shiny Fukano would fit
- Hufflepuff has a badger as its crest animal: Shiny Wiesor would fit
- Ravenclaw has a raven as its crest animal: Shiny Kramurx would fit
- Slytherin has a snake as its crest animal: Shiny Rettan would fit
Shiny Fukano and Kramurx are already in the game. They could appear more frequently during the event. An alternative to the two Pokémon would be Frizelbliz and Hoothoot. They do not yet exist as Shiny but wouldn’t fit as well.
When could the event start? The release for Wizards Unite in the USA and the UK is tomorrow, on June 21. If there is an event in Pokémon GO, it shouldn’t take much longer.
