Pokémon GO has released the first teaser for the GO Fest 2024. A mysterious Pokémon is announced for the event.
What kind of teaser is this? On the platform “X”, Pokémon GO has published the first teaser that gives hints about this year’s GO Fest. There, Pikachu and Eevee can be seen in a meadow, as well as several buildings in the background.
However, there is indirectly a third Pokémon visible: In the last seconds of the teaser, the camera zooms closer to a tree in the meadow, next to which a shadow can be seen. Shortly after, the call of the Pokémon that is obviously hiding there follows.

What kind of Pokémon is Marshadow?
This is Marshadow: Marshadow is a mysterious Pokémon, similar to Mew or Celebi. It comes from the seventh generation of games, specifically “Sun” and “Moon,” and has the Fighting and Ghost types.
It has the number 802 and looks like this:

The rare, small Pokémon has the ability to take over the shadows of its opponents and thus steal their attacks. It does not have an evolution as of now. Due to this year’s GO Fest emblem, trainers suspected that Marshadow would appear at the event – now it should be confirmed.

What is the GO Fest? The GO Fest is the biggest event in the Pokémon GO calendar and takes place every year. Recently, there have been local variants in individual cities as well as a global event that could be played by all trainers worldwide. It usually takes place in the summer.
