In Pokémon GO, the Community Day with Electabuzz starts on November 15, 2020. We will show you the most important information such as start time, attacks, and Shiny Electabuzz in the guide.
What kind of event is this? Typically, a Community Day takes place once a month in Pokémon GO. However, November 2020 is a bit special, as it is one of the few months in the year to have two Community Days.
During the first Community Day, Electabuzz is the focus and brings some exciting bonuses. To make the most of the event, we will show you an overview with the most important information.
Keep in mind that there is currently a risk of infecting yourself and others with the coronavirus. The Federal Center for Health Education recommends staying home as much as possible, keeping a distance from others, and avoiding gatherings.
You can comfortably play Community Days from home using Incense. You don’t need to meet with other trainers. The increased trading range is active during the event and helps avoid direct encounters with other people.

How to make the most of the event
Prepare properly: It is advisable to collect some Poké Balls before the event. You can start saving from Friday. During the 6 hours, you will encounter several Pokémon – at home and out and about. We recommend having at least 300 Poké Balls in your inventory. More would be better, depending on how many hours you want to play during the event.
With the catch trick, you can catch monsters in Pokémon GO faster.
Improve your catches with items: The reduced distance for hatching eggs is a great opportunity to exercise in your home or house. You can hatch eggs at home as well.
Use Star Pieces to increase Stardust yield while catching.
If you want to earn some experience points during the event, a Lucky Egg can help. In combination with level-ups with friends yield a lot of XP.
Remember that you can now stack consumables like Incense and Star Pieces. Those who want can start the event with 2 Incenses and as many Star Pieces as they wish. Then you won’t have to keep checking the countdown during the event.
Shiny Electabuzz and Electivire
This is what the Shinies look like: Niantic has already confirmed that you can encounter Shiny Electabuzz during this Community Day. We show you an overview of the entire family in both the normal and shiny versions.
What is the shiny chance? We assume that the shiny rate for Electabuzz is also 1 in 25. This is usually the case during Community Days.
Are you going as a shiny hunter to this Community Day or is something else interesting to you on Sunday? Let us know in the comments here on MeinMMO.
Or do you find this Community Day less interesting and would rather focus on the next event of this kind in November, which will be all about Magmar?
