The Pokémon GO Community Day in May could bring cool monsters and rewards again. Which Pokémon are you wishing for the event?
Last weekend, the fourth Community Day in Pokémon GO took place. This monthly event was first introduced by the developers at Niantic in January 2018. The plan is to bring many trainers from the community together. Monsters with special moves and shiny forms are attracting players. Additionally, other bonuses such as extended lure modules will be activated.
Which special monster do you wish for in May 2018?
Community Day in May with starter Pokémon or prefer Pidgey?
The trainer community is now waiting, after the 4th Community Day, for an announcement from Niantic. Full of anticipation, they are already looking forward to which special monster will be introduced at the Com-Day in May. There are many possibilities for which monsters could be featured, and we want to know from you which option you would be most excited about.
To keep the survey manageable, we will summarize a few possible Com-Day monsters.
- Starter Pokémon like Charmander and Squirtle would make sense. After Bulbasaur was already the selected Pokémon for the Com-Day in March and Pikachu opened the events in January, we assume that Niantic will eventually also unlock Charmander and Squirtle. Would you be excited about these monsters?
- Magikarp for the Community Day? Magikarp has already played an important role in Pokémon GO in the past. It was the first shiny that Niantic unlocked in the game. Although shiny Magikarp has been in the game since March 2017, not every trainer has a shiny specimen. Your wish for the Com Day in May?
- Larvitar or Machoke as important raid components. In raids, strong Machamp or Tyranitar are popular among trainers. Even as non-legendary Pokémon, they play an important role in raids and battles and could gain a lot of popularity during a Community Day.
- Eevee at Community Day – A feast for collectors. Eevee, with its many evolutions, is already a valuable monster. It can evolve into Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon or Espeon or Umbreon. Now just imagine these shiny possibilities.
- Candy frenzy with Pidgey or Rattata? Pidgey is already being farmed by EXP collectors to be part of a mass evolution session. Trainers collect Rattata to complete the medal or to go on a curious raid journey. Do you think these “small” Pokémon would be a good choice for Community Day in May?
