Pokémon GO has announced the details for the Community Day featuring Charmander in October. Here you can find all the information about the date, bonuses, and the special move for Charizard.
When does the Community Day take place? The Community Day with Charmander will take place on Saturday, October 17. It runs from 11 AM to 5 PM.
The first-generation starter Pokémon is not making its debut as the star of the Community Day. In 2018, the Fire-type monster was already in focus and also at the Best-Of Community Day last December.
Nevertheless, it can be worthwhile for many players – for example, if they do not yet have a Shiny version. October presents a good opportunity for that. Additionally, players can secure a good Charizard that is suitable for Mega Evolution.
These bonuses come with the Community Day featuring Charmander
This is what you can expect for the Community Day in October: Since Charmander is the event Pokémon, its spawns in the wild will be significantly increased. But that’s not all.
It was already clear in August that Charmander would follow Porygon as the C-Day monster. After all, it finished as the second Pokémon in the voting for event days – ahead of Caterpie and Grimer. The bonuses are now also known.
- Incense will last for 3 hours.
- There will be triple Stardust for caught Pokémon.
- There will be field research tasks that reward players with Mega Energy for Charizard.
So even if players already have plenty of Charmander, it is worth catching as many monsters as possible. Additionally, you can secure the special event move Fire Spin for Charizard. The fast Dragon-type move could be particularly interesting in PvP.
Moreover, there will be a Community Day box available in the shop for 1280 coins. It contains:
- One Charged TM
- 3 Super Incubators
- 3 Star Pieces
- 30 Ultra Balls
